Mission and vision
In a world of accelerated technological change and increasing demands for reliability and efficiency of production systems, maintenance is becoming a key function of every modern company. MaintLAB recognizes this need and acts as a bridge between scientific knowledge and industrial practice, providing solutions based on data, technology and knowledge.
MaintLAB's mission is to improve the reliability and efficiency of industrial systems through the application of advanced maintenance technologies, relying on an interdisciplinary approach, modern equipment, and cooperation with industry.
The laboratory's vision is to become a reference point for predictive maintenance and digital transformation of production processes, through the continuous development of innovative solutions based on IoT technologies, machine learning and information systems integration, while creating added value for the economy and the academic community.

Head of the Maintenance Laboratory (MaintLAB), where he conducts research in the field of predictive maintenance, artificial intelligence, and IoT systems.

Head of the Institute for Industrial Engineering, member of several professional domestic and international societies, with extensive experience in industry and science.
